Size and weight :

- Male : 65cm and 38kg
- Female : 58cm and 34kg

Head :

- Broad and strong
- Skull broad
- Muzzle strong and solid
- Nose black or brown in dogs with red dress
- Well fitting lips

Ears :

Medium sized, triangular, erect, well apart.

Eyes :

Almond, obliquely and brown.
The blue eye is a disqualifying defect.

Body :

- Compact and muscular
- Neck strong
- Chest well developed
- Straight back
- Rein solid, well muscled

- Powerful, strong bone
- Feet large, tight and thick

Fur :

- Thick, rough, never long nor soft
. - Dense undercoat, 2.5 to 5cm
. - The hair is longer on the shoulders,
   neck, down the back, rump,
   on thighs and tail.

tail :

- Although provided, carried over back
- Non wound tight loop

Colors :

- From light gray through intermediate shades to black, and sand by intermediate shades red.
- Color combinations are admitted to the undercoat.
- The only permissible uniform color is white.
- White is still predominant on the lower parts of the trunk,
- Some members, feet and part of brands forming the mask
